Troops Open Fire LONDON. Jul 16. Tl ■ British authorities at Beirut, line U.sclosed that a further incident u-.urred at Quamicky. Northern Syria. French troops opened fire on the town from the port, wounding one civilian and four gendarmes. British troops intervened. Firing occupied two French posts tn ihe tort.
