Fascist Salute Banned Prisoners of war in the United States are forbidden to use the Fascist straight arm salute and must substitute the United States Armv right hand salute. Furthermore, all German flags bearing the swastika and all Nazi emblems, insignia or pictures, including pictures of Nazi leaders, will be confiscated. Death of Admiral.
The death has occurred of Admiral Bertram Morduant Chambers, according to a message received from I,ondon. Admiral Chambers was born in 1866 and joined (he Navy in 1879. He was present at the bombardment of Alexandria In the Egyptian War of 1882. After service in the last war. he was made a C.B. in 1919 and became an admiral in 1927. He was the author of a number of books.
