NEW AIR SERVICE

London-Auckland (N.Z.P.A.) AUCKLAND, April 26. The British Overseas Airways Corporation Lancastrian landplahe will arrive at Whenuapai to-morrow from Sydney on the inaugural flight of the new London to Auckland air service. The regular service, which will start in June, will be once weekly, but will later be increased to twice weekly. Lancastrians will replace the Liberators used over the Indian Ocean and the Middle East route from Australia to England, but will add a new link by flying to Auckland. They will supplement the Tasman Empire Airways flying-boats which feed the present Australia to London service.
