PAREORA

Anzac Service The president of the Pareora-St. Andrews R.S.A.. Mr C. Johnston, piesided at the Anzac Day service held at Pareora when returned men and residents attended. The Rev. Canon Knights delivered the address. The Rev A Mclntyre also officiated. After the service in the hall, soldiers and school children paraded to the war memorial in the school grounds whore manv beautiful wreaths were placed. The Timaru Salvation Army Band attended and Bandmaster F. Hawkey sounded Last Post.
