FROM EAST AND WEST

Co-ordinated Moves (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, Mar 31. The Moscow “Red Star” says that Marshal Tolbukhin’s and General G. A. Patton’s drives into Southern Germany are a co-ordinated movement. General Patton’s army will have a decisive influence on the course of the war. Hitler’s plans to create a Nazi bastion in the south will be frustrated. Marshal Tolbukhin’s offensive is coordinated with this drive. “Red Star” adds that Germans in Italy will be cut off.
