GERMAN TENSION

Easter “ Surprises ” Expected (6.30 p.m.) LONDON, March 31. Germany is tense this week-end and residents of Berlin expect Easter to bring “surprises,” says Reuter’s Stockholm correspondent, quoting Swedish Press dispatches from Berlin. The German Press takes the line that the war will end soon, but implies that the end will be a German victory. The newspapers warn the population that increasing numbers of Allied secret agents are operating in Berlin and spreading reports of disaster.
