Allies Bomb Nanking LONDON, Jan. 28. A Chungking communique says that the 14th Air Force for the second day running bumbed Nanking, the city being left in flames and four river steamers damaged. On the Nanking airfield one bomber was destroyed and three damaged. Shipping in the Tungtin Lake area was bombed on Saturday. One American aircraft failed to return.
