POLICY CHANGED

Effect Of War Situation (Rec. 11.20 p.m.) NEW YORK, Dec. 21. The situation has caused a tightening of Canadian policy regarding Royal Canadian Air Force discharges, reports the Ottawa correspondent of the “New York Times.” Fighter pilots and others who have been notified that they would not be wanted, and would be enrolled in the reserve are being maintained on the active list.

A general tightening up is evident throughout services war plants which were informed that they might have to shut down in 1945, but have now been notified that full production must be maintained.
