Clergyman Charged (7.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Dec. 20. The Justice Department indictment of Carl Emil Ludwig Krepper, formerly a clergyman, charged him with violation of the sabotage and censorship statutes. The Department said the Indictment is the climax of two years’ investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on a clue supplied by one of eight German saboteurs who landed in America from a submarine in June, 1942. Krepper and his wife allegedly conspired with Walter Kappe, director of the Nazi sabotage school in Berlin, to injure, interfere and obstruct the national defence. -
