After being thoroughly sterilised, Woollen and Cotton Rags are processed into flock, which is used to fill mattresses. Your help is needed. THIS IS WHAT YOU SHOULD DO 1. Save all the woollen and cotton rags you can—factory and dressmakers’ woollen and cotton offeuts, worn-out clothing, household linen, and your own dressmaking scraps. 2. Remove any metal hooks, clasps, or domes, as these are liable to damage the processing machinery. Clip off buttons and save for further use. , 3. Save your rags till you have a sugar-bag fulL Then ’phone No. 550, and a lorry will call and you will receive CASH for them. NOTE FOR COUNTRY HELPERS. JFe need •your rags, but don’t send in small parcels, as the cost of freight and cartage is often greater than the value of the rags. Wait till you get at least a corn sack full before consigning.
