SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU

Coastal Trade FEW DAYS’ LULL There has been no coastal activity at the Port of Timaru for several days, but the arrival of the Wainui to-morrow will break the lull. EXPECTED ARRIVALS Wainui, Oamaru Oct. 5 Waiana, Dunedin Early PROJECTED DEPARTURES Wainui. Lyttelton Oct 5 Waiana, Auckland Early NOTES Working Oamaru to-day, the Wainui is scheduled to arrive here to-morrow to lift Napier and Gisborne shipments. She will sail that night for Lyttelton. Auckland cargo is being prepared' for the early arrival of the Waiana. She will work south, calling at Wellington, Dunedin and Bluff before returning north, via Timaru.
