Interest In Pacific War SYDNEY, September 29. A party of 72 Canadian non-com-missioned officers have arrived in Australia on specialist duty. They are members of the Royal Canadian Artillery and Royal Canadian Engineers, who will help in the installation and maintenance of special equipment. The party was officially welcomed to Australia by the Canadian High Commissioner (Mr Justice Davis) who said that their presence here was a token of Canada’s interest in the Pacific war. Soon all Canada’s attention would be devoted to the liquidation of the Japanese in the Pacific.
