TIMARU BRANCH At the monthly meeting of the Timaru Branch of the W.D.F.U. Mrs Ross presided over a good attendance of members. Mrs Ross and Mrs McLeod were appointed to attend a meeting of the advisory committee in Christchurch. For the stall to be held'at the Showgrounds on October 23 donations were requested from members. The flower competition resulted:— Mrs McLeod 1, Mrs Wallace 2 Mrs Ross and Mrs, Moran (equal) 3.
