No Mention Of Laval (Rec. 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, Oct. 1. Marshal Petain has moved from Belfort to Germany to protect France’s true interests, says the German News Agency. M. Debrlnon has assumed presidency of the committee for safeguarding French national interests. Other members are. Darnand, who is delegate for the organisation of the national militia forces against Bolshevist volunteers and the French Waffen S.S., General Bridoux, delegate f r prisoners of war, and Jean Luchaire, delegate for propaganda. Reuter’s points out that the announcement does not mention Laval.
