1 /omen’s Patriotic Committee.— Those present at the monthly meeting of the Women’s Patriotic Committee were: Mesdames Hanan (in the chair). Cumberbeach, Hawkes, Wiberg, McKay, Ross, McLeod, Barker, Dellow, Stout and Miss Mills. The Wool Depot reported having sent to Air Force Relations. Christchurch, 93 pullovers, 117 cranwell jerseys, 123 scarves, 210 balaclavas, 144 pairs of mittens, and eight pairs of gloves, and to the Navy I,eague, Wellington, three pullovers. 10 pairs of seaboot stockings, 72 pairs of socks and nine pairs of gunner gloves. Overseas unaddressed parcels <1002) are to be packed this month.
