ROYAL PRINCESSES

Coats Of Arms Approved LONDON, July 2.

His Majesty has approved coats of arms for the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret Rose. Each coat consists of the Royal Arms with a different label of heraldic devices indicating their positions as daughters of the Sovereign. The White Rose of York is incorporated in each label which is of three points, the centre part charged with the thistle and each of the others with the Tudor Rose. The quartering of the Royal Arms is charged with the same distinctive labels.

Other members of the Royal Family wear the Royal Arms, differing in various labels. The Duke of Gloucester’s, for instance, is a silver label with a Lion and Saint George’s crosses.
