DAY OF REMEMBRANCE
Royal And Merchant Navies (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 1. Sunday, July 9, is being observed as a day of thankful remembrance for the men of the Royal and Merchant Navies, and at church services throughout the British nation gratitude will be expressed for the work of the two navies all over the oceans of the world throughout the war and. more recently, off the coast of Normandv. There will be n service at St. Paul’s Cathedral on that day
