Five Boys Returned To Care Of State (N.Z.P.A.) DUNEDIN, July 1. A series of burglaries and thefts in and around the city were cleared up on Saturday morning with the appearance in the Children’s Court of five boys, wards of the State, who had escaped from a local institution. The money and goods stolen represented a total value of £B5. The boys, whose ages ranged from 11 to 15. were returned to the care of the Child Welfare Department.
