Promotions Announced (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON, Mar. 30. The following appointments and promotions of officers of the New Zealand military forces are gazetted:— Staff—Temporary-Colonel D. T. Maxwell, A.D.C. (New Zealand Staff Corps) is reposted to the Second N.Z.E.F. for special duties. Second N.Z.E.F. (Middle East) New Zealand Chaplains Department, Rev. J. W. McKenzie, M.M., E.D., chaplain, second class, to be chaplain first class; Rev. G. A. D. Spence, M.C., chaplain, third class, to be temporary-chaplain, second class, while employed .as senior chaplain to the Forces, Second New Zealand Division. New Zealand Artillery—LieutenantColonel L. W. Thornton to be temporary-colonel while employed as general staff officer, first grade, Second New Zealand Division; TemporaryColonel A. R. Cockerell, D. 5.0., New Zealand Staff Corps, appointed area commander, Invercargill; Major C. H. Macan, New Zealand Staff Corps, appointed supplies and transport officer, mobilisation camp, Trentham; Major D. N. McLeod relinquishes the appointment of adjutant, mobilisation camp, Trentham.
