RELIEF FOR INTERNEES
Efforts By Vatican NEW DELHI, Feb. 29. The Government of India has been informed that the Vatican had persuaded the Japanese Government to permit representatives of the Holy See in Malaya. Dutch East Indies and tile Philippines to administer relief to Internees In those areas. Sir Mahomed Vusman, Leader of the House, announcing this, added that the Vatican recently supplied funds for the purpose, and the scheme applied equally to all British subjects in internment camps.
