PACIFIC AND FAR EAST
Japanese Lose 14 Ships LONDON, February 29. The United States Navy Department states that United States submarines in the Pacific and Far East, report the sinking of 14 enemy vessels in operations in these waters. The vessels consisted of one large tanker, one medium cargo transport, one small cargo vessel, and 11 medium cargo vessels.
