SHIPPING PORT OF TIMARU
Coastal Trade WAIPAHI loads and sails Arriving early yesterday morning the Waipahi berthed at tije south side of No. 2 wharf and began working. She loaded produce for Wellington, New Plymouth and Nelson, clearing in the evening, and sailing for Lyttelton. The next coastal vessel expected at the Port of Timaru is the Holmglen, which is due from Dunedin to-morrow. ARRIVAL Sunday, January 16 Waipahi, s.s., 1783 tons (Captain W. A. McGarry), from Oamaru. Union Steam Ship Cqy. of N.Z. Ltd. DEPARTURE Sunday, January 16 Waipahi, s.s., for Lyttelton. The following list of movements oi coastal shipping is compiled in accordance with the advice suppled by the agents of the different lines:— EXPECTED ARRIVALS Holmglen, Dunedin Jan. 18 Waipiata. Oamaru Jan. 19 Waimarino, Dunedin Early PROJECTED DEPARTURES Holmglen, Wellington .. .. .. Jan. 18 Waipiata, Auckland Jan. 19 waimarino, Auckland .. .. Early NOTES Cargo for Wellington and Waikato Heads will be taken by the Holmglen on her arrival from Dunedin tomorrow. She is set down to sail the same day for Wellington. Now at Lyttelton the Waipiata will call at Dunedin and Oamaru before arriving here on Wednesday. She will Carry produce for Auckland on the return north, but her ports of call are not yet Scheduled. Loading at Auckland at present is the Waimarino which, working south, will call at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Bluff, returning to Dunedin before proceeding north. From Timafii she Will take cargo for Auckland at an early date.
