Pilot Slightly Injured

(N.Z.P.A.), WELLINGTON, Jan. 1,5. When a Royal New Zealand AilForce aircraft of the fighter type was operating from a North Island station yesterday morning it crashed. The pilot. Flight Lieutenant Francis Lampen, received slight injuries which necessitated his admission to the hospital. His next-of-kin is Mrs F. T. Lampen, of Mount Maunganui.
