Excursion Trains
Taking advantage of the last opportunity to travel by train before the Imposition of the train travel restrictions, about 1600 persons came to Timaru by the three excursion trains yesterday. The first train brought 756 passengers, the second 253, and the third 625. When the train left for the north, it carried 773 travellers.
