SALE OF CAMPHOR
Restrictions Removed (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON. Jan. 14. When Japan entered the war camphor was not available from its usual source of supply and it was necessary to impose restrictions on its sale other than by prescription. Due to the availability of synthetic camphor, of which adequate supplies are now reaching the Dominion from America, the Minister of Supply (the Hon. D. G. Sullivan) has approved the lifting of the restriction, and a revocation notice to this effect has been gazetted.
