Republics inspired and aided the
Bolivian revolution, said Mr Cordell Hull, Secretary of State, in a statement. He added that the present consultation between 19 American countries concerning the origin of the' revolution will soon permit each gow ■' eminent to reach its own conclusions. The correspondent of the American United Press says that although Mr Hull has not identified the forces, -it is “ suspected that the revolution.,. was engineered with the aid of Axis forces in Argentina, the only country to recognise the new Bolivian regime-. Mi’ Hull’s statement indicated that 19 governments have already agreed to withhold recognition from Bolivia, aays . the Washington correspondent of the “New York Times.” Furthermore, it is understood that they may take action toward further isolating Argentina-. Britain's collaboration is necessary because of her strong trade connections. 1 This is believed to have been the. subject of a conference to-day attended by Mr Hull.
