TARGETS IN BURMA

Royal Air Force Activity LONDON, Nov. 10. The target for Royal Air Force Wellingtons in Burma on Tuesday night was the airfield at Heho, states a communique issued at Delhi. Bombs fell on the runways, barracks and buildings, a large fire being started. Fighters continued their attacks on river communications. Fires were started on three steamers at the waterfront at Mandalay and hits were scored on other river boats. Three launches were hit and sampans shot up. Enemy position in the Chin Hills were attacked by dive-bombers. Japanese bombers with a fighter escort attacked airfields In the Imphal area. They were engaged by fighters, one being shot down and another probably destroyed without loss to the fighters. Another Japanese plane was shot down by anti-aircraft fire, and another was damaged. The bombing caused little damage. No Allied planes are missing.
