Action Brings Results
As a result of a protest by the Mayor (Mr A. E. S. Hanan) at Timaru being omitted from the programme of the Kiwi Concert Party, which is touring New Zealand under the auspices of the National Patriotic Fund Board, a concert at Timaru on September 29 has been included in the party’s itinerary. This advice was received by Mr Hanan yesterday from the secretary of the board (Mr G. A. Hayden) to whom Mr Hanan addressed his complaint at Timaru being overlooked in the original programme
