GAPES VALLEY
AGRICULTURAL CLUB A pleasant afternoon was spent by parents and friends at the Gapes Valley School, the occasion being the annual agricultural club show. The judges, Mesdames N. Le Lievre and P. Patrick, congratulated the children on their exhibits. The results were as follows: Vegetable section, David Stockdill; flower section, Brian Judkins; general section, Bobby Patrick. Certificates: First class, David Stockdill; second, Brian Judkins; third class, Shirley Patrick, Billy Patrick, Bobby Patrick. Before afternoon tea was served a short musical and dramatic programme was presented by the pupils.
