NATIONAL SAVINGS

Timaru Quota Reached

The District Organiser (Mr R. A. Heron) advised yesterday that for the first week of the operation of the revised quota system Timaru was successful in obtaining the quota, earning the right to fly the National Savings flag on the Bank of Australasia.

On account of the surplus available from the Timaru receipts, the quota for the South Canterbury district was also reached, and therefore National Savings flags are flying on all offices in the district.
