LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL
NEW MEMBER SWORN IN (N.Z.P.A.) WELLINGTON Mar. 12. The Address-in-Reply Debate was concluded by the Legislative Council to-day. The newly-appointed member, Mr T. O. Bishop, of Wellington, was sworn in and took his seat for the first time. The Council passed, without amendment, the three Bills previously passed by the House of Representatives, and adjourned until May 19.
