DUNEDIN, Jan. 27. James William Kingsland, a Dunedin boy, who heads the New Zealand list in the Public Service Entrance examination, is a son of Mr James Kingsland, an electrical engineer. He is a student of the Dunedin Technical Hiyh School, where he has been taking an engineering course. In 1940 he won the Burt Scholarship and the following year- the Collonder Scholarship. Kingsland, who is 16 years old. is at present on holiday at Mount Cook.
