WRITING PAPER

Gift For Armed Forces WELLINGTON. Jan. 12. The National Patriotic Fund Board recently took delivery of 71 cases of white bond paper shipped by the British War Relief Society. New York. Last year after the Anzac Day dinner the board received a cable from the Anzac War Relief Fund, now incorporated with the British War Relief Society, announcing that as a result of the dinner funds were available for the benefit of the New Zealand forces and it was asked how they should be expended. A reply was sent that R would be greatly appreciated if Hip money could be applied to writing paper. The paper will provide almost three months’ supply for the New Zealand Forces. It is of excellent quality. A letter of thanks is being sent. Writing paper costs the board a considerable amount each year and for the forces in New Zealand and the Pacific alone It is £40.000.
