Formation In South Africa (8 p.m.) JOHANNESBURG, Jan. 9. A United Services Democratic Front has been formed with the object of securing after the war a new deal for soldiers and war workers. The organisation pledges itself to support General Smuts during the war. but on the cessation of hostilities the organisation proposes to enter politics as a fullyfledged party with the slogan “There must be no forgotten Springboks.”
