Attempt To Run Blockade

LONDON. January 2. An Admiralty communique states: “An enemy merchantman of some 10,000 tons, which was attempting to run the blockade, has been intercepted by our patrols in the Atlantic. On being overhauled the crew scuttled the ship and have been taken prisoners of war.”
