STREET APPEAL

Ambulance Association The St. John Ambulance Association will to-day make its annual appeal to the public for funds to carry on the splendid work which the Brigade and the Nursing Division perform in tfie community, The services of members are available to the public day and night, and they carry out their humanitarian work without remuneration or reward. The provision of equipment and other expenses involved in maintaining a highly efficient service are considerable, and it is confidently expected that, in spite of the many calls made on the public, the response to-day will show ready recognition of the good work being done. A shop will also be conducted in Stafford Street central.
