MR SHOLTO BLACK INSTALLED

(145 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Sept. 15. Mr Sholto Black, MA., formerly on the staff of the Umaru Boys’ High School and other New Zealand schools, was installed to-day as headmaster of Haileyburv College, where he has been first assistant for several years. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. S A Goddard, moderator of the Melbourne South Presbytery of the Presbyterian Church, which controls the school. Haileybury was founded 51 years ago as a boys’ secondary school, but the church interest was only acquired three years ago.
