The following air casualties are announced, all being R.N.Z.A.F. and holding the rank of Pilot Officer unless otherwise stated: — Carter, Cecil William Phair. missing on air operations. Father, Mr R. P. Carter, Timaru. Aickin, Neville Mack, missing on air operations. Wife. Mrs N. M. Aickin, Palmerston North. Asmuss, Alan William, killed in an aircraft accident. Father, Mr W. N. Asmuss, Auckland. Billing, Kelvin Choi will, missing on air operations. Father, Mr H. R. Billing, New Plymouth. Canning, George, wounded on operations. Wife, Mrs G. Canning, Napier. Hall, sergeant James Milton, missing on air operations. Sister, Mrs Aaers, Gisborne. Kerr, Charles Alistair, injured in flying accident. Wife, Mrs E. S. Kerr, Wellington. Openshaw, Flying Officer Edward Basil Hamilton, missing on air operations. Father, Mr E. Openshaw. Marton. < Butcher, Sergeant Stanley Henry, previously reported missing, now reclassified prisoner of war. Belongs to Wellington. Goodlet, Flight Sergeant Travis Coburn. previously reported missing, now reclassified prisoner of war. Belongs to Dunedin. McDonald, Sergeant Edward Campbell, previously reported missing, death now officially presumed. Belongs to Auckland. Wells, Alan Richard, previously reported missing, now reclassified as prisoner of war. Belongs to Wellington.
