SILVER SHORTAGE
(Rec. 1.30) MELBOURNE, April 21. The issue of five shillings notes to cope with the prevailing shortage of silver to Australia is under consideration by the Treasurer who states that the shortage of small currency is causing great Inconvenience to business people. -
