BILL CRITICISED
Mr Mackenzie King Attacks Opposition OTTAWA, March 4. The Prime Minister (Mr Mackenzie King) accused the Conservative leader in the House (Mr R. B. Hanson) and other Opposition members of being under the influence of Nazi principles when they criticised the Government’s proposed Manpower Plebiscite Bill. Mr Hanson said last night that the Plebiscite Bill was a red herring with which the Prime Minister was trying to fool the people. Mr Mackenzie King added that Mr Hanson was attempting to make political capital of his criticism of the Bill.
