ONE HUNDRED POLES SHOT
Reprisal For Attack On Policemen (Rec. 9.34 p.m.) RUGBY, March 5. The Germans have shot 100 Poles as a reprisal fox* an attack on two German policemen, one of whom- was killed. The announcement was made in Warsaw on Wednesday by the German Governor of the Polish capital, Fischer, who ordered that the details should be placarded all ovex- the city. Fischer then threatened the Polish population of Warsaw that in case of further attempts against officers or the German authorities the distribution of rationed food to them will cease.
