ALL-WELDED TANKS
Powerful New Weapon WASHINGTON. Mar. 3. The War Production Board has dfeclosed that a new Mid-Western plant is mass-producing M 4 medium welded tanks, which have greater strength and safety, a lower silhouette, and carry a major weapon, a 75mm cannon mounted in a revolving turret. The director (Mr Harrison) said that thousands of these all-welded tanks will be built this year, making a large part of the 45.000 scheduled by Presi- 1 dent Roosevelt.
