POST FOR GENERAL BENNETT
• 1.30 a.m. > CANBERRA. Mar. 5. The Army Minister (Mr F. M. Forde) told the House ot Representatives to-day that the Government was going to -appoint Major-General Gordon Bennett to a major military post in Australia, but he would have a much needed rest before assuming his new duties.
