BRIGHT SUNSHINE Mild weather was experienced again yesterday, there being a rise of 16 degrees in the minimum temperature in comparison with Wednesday’s minimum. There was almost uninterrupted bright sunshine with a steady northeast breeze. Records yesterday were:— Max. temperature in shade: 68.6. Min. temperature on grass: 42.2. Wind: N.E.2. Rainfall: Nil. Rainfall to date this year: 4.86 in. Sunshine: 11.9 hours. Sunshine to date this year: 464.4hr5. IN OTHER CENTRES Geraldine— Yesterday was fine and sunny. Temuka— Yesterday w’as fine and warm with an easterly wind. The maximum temperature was 64 degrees and the minimum 45. The glass was steady last evening.
