Shopping Hours In Auckland (P.A.) AUCKLAND, Mar. 5. The question of changing the shooping hours in Auckland City was settled when the City Council received a direction from the Minister of National Service (the Hon. R. Semple) under the Emergency Regulations to fix 6 o'clock as the closing hour on late late shopping night for all shops for which ordinary closing time, except on the half-holiday and late nights, was 5.30 p.m. or earlier, the resolr’ion to take effect next Monday 7 e Council comnliid although a numoer of members objected to the procedure.
