SMALLPOX OUTBREAK
Precautions In Paris LONDON, February 21. The Paris radio says the chief of police warned the population of Paris to be vaccinated to prevent the spread of smallpox, which has broken out in the Paris region. The Vichy radio says Japanese reports state that cholera has broken out in Hong Kong and Canton. The Berlin News Agency says the churches in Lithuania are re-opening following the decrease of spotted typhus. It is stated that some cases remain but thp epidemic phase has passed.
