Improvement In Battle Of Atlantic (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 21. A great Improvement in the Battle of the Atlantic had taken place during the last months of 1941, said Mr A. V. Alexander (First Lord of the Admiralty), opening Grantham’s Warships Week. “Never before in naval history have we been so stretched. Yet considering we have been at war 21 years we have suffered remarkably little in our standard of life and comfort.”
