ARMY SERVICE REVOLVERS SYDNEY, Feb. 9. A batch of service revolvers made by mass production methods in Australia was successfully tested in Sydney the other day Based on the Enfield six-chambered revolver type of weapon, firing .38in. ammunition, the revolvers are made entirely of Australian materials. They are intended for issue to Army officers, Air Force personnel, and tank crews. After firing one of the revolvers at the proof range attached to the Sydney factory where they are made, Sir Philip Goldfinch, chairman of the New South Wales Area Board of Management, Ministry of Munitions, congratulated the pistol factory manager and the workers on the success of their efforts.
