Control of Cook’s Tourist Agency A Bill is being introduced in Parliament under which the four main line railway companies in Britain will acquire control of Thomas Cook’s Tourist Agency. Although Cooks 1s popularly supposed to be a British company, control passed in 1928 to the Belgian Wagonlits Company, which is now under German control. Wagonlits shares are at present vested in the custodian of enemy property. The Bill is designed to enable a transfer to the railway companies.
