U.S. Promise To Be Kept (8.53 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Feb. 17. Mr Roosevelt declared that within a fortnight the United States would catch up with the scheduled deliveries of war equipment and supplies promised to Russia last autumn by the Harriman Mission.
